Established: April 26, 2008
Chapter's Mission: The purposes of the EMU New York Metro Alumni Chapter, as a chapter of the Alumni Association of Eastern Michigan University are:
- To encourage and coordinate activities of EMU graduates and former students.
- To cooperate with the Alumni Association of EMU in promoting the interest and welfare of EMU among its students, graduates, former students and their families.
- To provide social, networking, and philanthropic opportunities for EMU alumni located in the New York City metropolitan area.
- To act as a resource for graduating students who are relocating to the New York City metropolitan area.
